Requesting a Refund: (Back to Top)(Back to FAQ)

We can complete your request to return your HealthKeeper Performance Diet program and/or send you a RMA (return merchandise authorization) number after you review the information in A, B and C below and then reply to the refund procedure next step described below so that the refund process may be authorized and continue:

 

a.) Are you returning the program because you are actually quitting your diet because “you just don’t have the time now” or it seems “to complicated or tough.” A significant number of individuals who ask to return legitimate weight loss products do so not because of any product defect, but simply because they have given up their diet because they thought the program took too much time was too hard or to complicated. In fact, 20 years of our research helping dieters lose weight and keep it off for at least 5 years has shown that the three biggest reasons people give up their diet programs are impatience combined often with unrealistic expectations regarding the time, effort and result speed of a safe and lasting weight loss process which causes them not to follow the Performance Diet program steps described in the registered users section of our web site in the Welcome and Overview sections.

We have found that the other simple reason for many refund requests has been an un-handled technical or software problem or support question or, the user could not figure out how to find or use a program feature or step that would have provided them with exactly what they wanted the program to do.

We have created this form letter to help you with this query. If you have not received your refund by now, one of the following may apply. Please check over all of the items below in this email response and only if necessary and a particular item applies to your current refund, make any corrections to complete or expedite the refund process.

Possible problems with your refund processing: (Back to Top)(Back to FAQ)

1. Keep in mind that if your refund form found at http://www.performancediet.com/Return_Policy.html is not returned to us completely filled out it will cause refund-processing delays here at our office. We always follow the refund terms, procedures and policy posted on this web page. Please re-check the form you sent us to be sure it is complete. If not, please complete it and return it to us. If it was complete, move on to #2.

2. If we have not received your returned CD yet (if applicable,) that also delays completing your refund processing until the CD is here. Please re-check that you have mailed us the CD “return receipt requested.” If not, please do so. If you did send the CD “return receipt requested” or this is not applicable move on to #3.

3. You have not included the RMA tracking number you were given in the subject line of all your emails regarding your refund. When this critical RMA tracking number information is missing it causes considerable additional delays, as our refund system needs the RMA number you were issued to check on the status or complete the refund process. If this applies to you and you forgot to include your RMA tracking number, please do so and resend your request or question then move on to #4 and 5 below on when you can expect to see your refund re-credit.

4. Our normal office processing time for all refund requests:

All refunds go into a dated refund-processing queue. If your refund request form is complete and your returned CD (if applicable) has already arrived at our offices, it normally takes about 7-10 business days at our offices in the normal work flow to process a refund request (Sometimes a few days longer during the peak January and spring weight loss seasons.). If the forms are found to be incomplete or the CD has not arrived, we put refund request on hold until we receive the missing CD or missing refund form information from you. If you discover something in items 1-3 (above) is causing the delay please fix the problem and we will continue processing your refund. If none of the above items in 1-3 is a problem, please see number 5 below for when you can expect to see your re-credit.

5. If you paid by check, return checks are sent to you within 35 days of receipt of the completed refund process.

Only if you have not received a re-credit within the normal 6- 8 weeks of having sent us your completed form and returned CD (if applicable,) please re-contact us again using the return authorization number (RMA) that we sent you when you made your original request for a refund and we will see look into what is causing the delay at the credit card company. Keep in mind that 6 weeks normal period starts from the date that we have your completed refund form and have received any returned CD if applicable. Keep in Mind the Refund amount will be listed under either RegSoft or Digital River depending upon which company you used for your online order and your refund amount will be your payment less $7.95 the refund administrative and shipping fee.

In the email re-contact for letting us know you have still not yet seen your re-credit on your credit card and there is not a problem in 1-3 above, please use your RMA tracking number in the correspondence and copy the following into the mailing:

“I have re-verified the refund form I sent to you was complete and (if applicable) the CD was mailed to us. I have included a copy of the “return receipt requested” form from the post office as mailing verification.”

How to get your Diet Buddy Registered: (Back to Top)(Back to FAQ)

To activate your new weight loss buddy as a fully registered user eligible for access to the registered users section, tech support and free or upgrades they must email us a copy of the properly completed registration form found in the software. This is found on the Help pull down Registration option under the link called "How To Register Your Software After You Have Purchased It."

Copy this registration form into the email body with "Registration for Buddy" entered on the email subject line and send it to support@HealthKeeper.com . They also need to specify your name, your order number and purchase date in the beginning of the email so we know whose buddy they are.

The registration form must be filled in with your buddy's registration information [add not yours], as they will be the new registered user. Once we receive it, we will send them their welcome letter and they will be treated as any other new and valued client.
